Seskinore farmer appears in court accused of making threat to kill

A farmer from near Seskinore has appeared in court accused of making a threat to kill.

Leslie Beggs, 45, from Tullyrush Road appeared in Omagh Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.

He faces one charge of threatening to kill Paul Stewart on February 6, 2013.

It is believed the incident in question relates to the construction of the A5 duel carriageway.

Mr Beggs spoke only to say that he understood the charge against him and he was freed on continuing bail.

The case was adjourned for five weeks.
