Wheelers pick up two Cycling Ireland awards

cycling Omagh Wheelers

Omagh Wheelers were named Club of the Year at the prestigious Cycling Ireland awards in Dublin at the weekend.

And the local club had double cause for celebration when dedicated chairman Stephen McKenna walked off the Volunteer of the Year accolade at the glitzy gala function in Dublin’s O’Callaghan Alexandra Hotel.

The awards crowned a marvellous 12 months for the Wheelers with three of their members Ciaran O’Hagan, Caolan Dolan and Andrew Graham picking up team medals in the All Ireland A3 Road Racing Championships at the end-of-season bash.
