TWO talented young motocross speedsters have been enhancing their reputations as stars of the future after winning championship events in 2015.
Racing in the 65cc class, 11-year-old Dromore lad Martin Hughes maintained a strong family tradition by finishing top of the podium in the Errigal Championship and claiming third in both the Ulster and Irish Championships.
The Drumragh Integrated College student is the son of motocross ace Martin Hughes and nephew of Paul, Ryan and Patrick Barrett, all of whom made their name in motocross before turning their hand to rallying.
Oisin’s cousin is Jamie McCanny who lives in the Isle of Man and who earlier this year was crowned British and World Motocross champion.
