Multiple vehicles were involved in a road collision on the A4 dual carriageway on Thursday afternoon.

The major arterial route was closed for a number of hours after the incident at Cabragh.

Eyewitnesses reported extremely challenging road conditions after freak localised rain and sleet in the area between Dungannon and Ballygawley.

Emergency services attended the scene, however there were no reports of any injuries.

The road reopened shortly after 5pm.

The crash followed an incident earlier on Thursday near the Ballygawley Roundabout
