CURRENT Irish Junior Forest Champion Patrick O’Brien, from Mountfield, has been selected as an inaugural member of Team Ireland, the first ever high performance program aimed at young rally and race drivers in Ireland.

O’Brien, along with six other young drivers, has been identified as having the potential to reach the forefront of international motorsport and will now receive individual designed physical, psychological, dietary and skill based coaching from leading experts.
