Postponed due to adverse weather…

Due to the current spate of bad weather it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to postpone Friday night’s Ulster Herald 2017 Sports Awards.
With further heavy snow and plunging temperatures forecast for today and tomorrow, the decision to postpone the highly anticipated celebration of local sporting success has been taken in the interests of safety of all our award nominees and guests. The Awards have been rescheduled for Friday 23rd March.

Overall Sports Personality of the Year Award was
presented by Michael McElroy, Main Street and Nigel McDonagh, editor, Ulster Herald, to Adam Bustard (rallying) who was named the 2016 Sports Personality of the Year. MC 50 Picture Michael Cullen
