West Tyrone has overwhelmingly backed remaining in the EU.

A total of 26,765 voters backed remaining in the EU -equal to a 66.8% share of the vote.


The remain vote was more than double the 13,274 (33.13%) who voted to leave in West Tyrone.

The result was declared just before 1.30am on Friday.

Turnout in West Tyrone was 61.69%, with 40,061 voters from an eligible electorate of 64,941.
