Pair questioned over murder of Ronan Kerr

Drumduff PSNI officer Ronan Kerr, who was murdered in April 2011.

Two men have been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Drumduff police officer Ronan Kerr.

A 27-year-old man was arrested in the Omagh area shortly after 9am on Tuesday morning.


A second man aged 40 was produced into police custody from prison.

They have both been arrested under the Terrorism Act in connection with the murder of Constable Kerr in April 2011.

Both men have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite in Belfast, where they are currently being questioned by police.
