Pair held in Ronan Kerr probe released unconditionally

Drumduff PSNI officer Ronan Kerr, who was murdered in April 2011.

Two men arrested in connection with the murder of Drumduff PSNI officer Ronan Kerr have been released unconditionally.

The pair aged 27 and 40 were detained on Tuesday morning under the Terrorism Act.


It’s understood both men are from the Omagh area. The 40-year-old had been taken from prison for questioning.

Both men were held in Musgrave PSNI Station in Belfast before their release on Wednesday evening.
