Top comedy line-up at Omagh Laughs Back

THE Omagh Laugh’s Back team return to Lola’s at the Silverbirch Hotel in Omagh on Saturday, June 10 with an incredible line-up featuring some of the biggest acts on the Irish comedy circuit today.

Headlining the evening is Colin Murphy, a resident panellist of BBC’s hit comedy panel show, ‘The Blame Game’.

Colin has been a regular face on our TV screens for most of the past 20 years and is best known for his incredible writing and appearances on everything from RTE’s ‘The Panel’ and ‘The Blizzard of Odd’ to ‘Colin Murphy’s Great Unanswered Questions’ and of course, ‘The Blame Game’.

Colin has performed live comedy at some of the biggest comedy festivals across the globe, from The Edinburgh Fringe Festival to Kilkenny Cat Laughs, The Melbourne Comedy Festival and Just For Laughs.

Support on the night comes from two home grown talents including Irish comedy legend, Kevin McAleer from Drumnakilly and Omagh Laughs Back’s very own, Conor Keys.
Special guest host for the evening is none other than Mickey Bartlett, the star of BBCs ‘Monumental’ and as seen on ‘The Blame Game’, ‘Dave’s One Night Stand’, ‘I Am Fighter’ and much more.

Event organiser, Chris Bowes continued, “A firm crowd favourite in Omagh, Mickey always brings the house down and it’s great to have him back hosting the Lola’s stage following the packed Comedy Squad gig in the same venue back in March.

“Kevin has always been a stand-out performer at previous Omagh Laugh’s Back events with his dry wit always sure to be a hit with audience.

“It is also great to welcome Colin Murphy back to Omagh. There is no doubting Colin is among the very elite of Irish comedians working today and should be an amazing night.

“As a special bonus, Omagh Laugh’s Back’s resident magician, Liam O’Neill will be performing up close magic throughout the crowd before the stage show begins.
