TWO Fermanagh and Western League Division One clubs have appointed new managers.
Champions Strathroy Harps have gone for continuity in appointing Shane Horisk.
Horisk has worked as part of Seamus Fanthorpe’s backroom for the past seven years and will be hoping to maintain Harps’ recent run of success.
Last season Strathroy completed the treble of Mercer League, Mulhern Cup and Kennedy Cup.
Benny McElholm has meanwhile returned to take charge of Tummery Athletic for a second spell.
McElholm was player-manager in the 2015-16 season when Athletic were in the mix for a first ever Mercer League title.
Last season the defender stepped down owing to family commitments but is now back in harness.
This time around the former Omagh Town defender doesn’t intend to play and sees his task as a rebuilding job at the Dromore club.
