Moy stabbing suspect appears in court

A forty-three year old man has appeared in court in relation to an incident in which the victim was stabbed.
Ahtoh Atahacob of Dungannon Street, Moy is accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding the male victim on June 17, with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
A police officer told Dungannon Magistrates Court she believed the charge could be connected.
The victim is aged 33, and the incident is alleged to have occurred at around 6am near Atahacob’s home. Police say they do not believe the injury to be life-threatening.
Dressed in a navy tee-shirt and grey trousers, and kept handcuffed throughout, Atahacob had the details of the hearing relayed to him by an interpreter.
There was no application for bail and Atahacob was remanded in custody to appear again by video-link later this month.
