Jamie Glackin is set to complete a move to Crusaders

Omagh’s Jamie Glackin is set to complete a move to Crusaders.

In a statement this morning Dungannon Swifts confirmed that they were losing one of their star players.

It said, “Jamie signed for us in August 2012 after having played superbly for County Tyrone in the Milk Cup. Despite being offered a new contact by the club Jamie has opted to sign for Crusaders. All the best in the future Jamie and thanks for your commitment during your five seasons at Stangmore Park.”

After an excellent season at Swifts, Glackin had attracted interest from a number of clubs including Glentoran and the Crues.

It is expected Glackin will be officially announced as a Crusaders player this evening
