FORMER Dungannon Swifts player Niall McGinn has signed for South Korean top flight outfit Gwangju FC.
The 29-year-old Northern Ireland internaional who joined Aberdeen from Celtic in 2012 rejected an offer to stay at Pettodrie.
The ex-Derry City player announced on Twitter that he was looking forward to “a new chapter, a new exciting challenge.
“After five great years I’m moving on. I will always remember my Aberdeen days very fondly.
“When I joined Aberdeen I had no idea the great times that lay ahead.”
McGinn, from Donaghmore, has been capped 50 times for Northern Ireland and scored in last year’s Euro finals.
