Emergency services attend A5 RTC

Emergency services are in attendance at the scene of an RTC on the A5 road between Ballygawley and Omagh.

It is understood there has been a two car collision in the Ballymacilroy hill area near Garvaghey at approximately midday.

Ambulance Service were in attendance at the scene shortly after.


A police spokesperson said, “Police in Dungannon attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the Omagh Road in Gort around noon today, Thursday, July 13.
“Two male casualties were taken to hospital and are being treated for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.”

The road remains open.
