Man taken to hospital after assault on July 12th

THE PSNI are appealing for information following the report of an assault in the Main Street area of Beragh on the evening of July 12. 

A male was assaulted outside commercial premises located at the junction of Main Street and the Drumduff Road. He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening. 



“We are aware that many people may have been videoing their surroundings whilst in the of Main Street area of Beragh at the time and would ask anyone that may have any video footage that could assist police with their enquiries to get in touch,” said Sergeant Andrena Nash. 

Police are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed this assault to contact Omagh Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1580 of the 12/07/17.
