Drumquin’s Fr Mullan speaks about heart attack

Popular Drumquin parish priest, Fr Kevin Mullan, has spoken candidly about how a heart attack has made him reflect on “the important things in life.”
Fr Mullan recently returned home from Altnagelvin Hospital after being taken ill at the start of last month.
He has expressed his gratitude to those who sent get well messages and cards, and also to the medical staff who helped him.
Speaking to the Ulster Herald on Tuesday, Fr Mullan also remarked on how the experience provided a “sense of my own mortality.”
“People can die from an illness like this and it was very frightening to hear someone tell me that I’d had a heart attack,” he said.
