Chainsaws taken in burglary near Beragh

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at an outbuilding near Beragh.

Three chainsaws, including two Shitl brand and a Husqvarna chainsaw were taken at the property off the Drumduff Road sometime between Tuesday August 1 and Saturday August 5.

Constable Holmes of Omagh PSNI said, “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or have information about the incident or anyone who may be offered similar items for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact police at Omagh station on 101 quoting reference 945 of 05/08/17.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
