OMAGH is preparing to host a special event to promote the jobs and career opportunities on offer in Co Tyrone.
TyroneWorks will take place at Omagh Leisure Complex on Thursday, September 7 between 12-3pm.
Organised by Business in the Community, in partnership with the Ulster Herald, the event will have exhibits from more than 50 of the county’s top employers, offering attendees an unparalleled insight into a career within the county.
“‘TyroneWorks’ is a reminder to the local business community and jobseekers of the importance of staying and working in the local community in order to sustain our economy for the future,” said John O’Connell of Business in the Community.
A considerable number of local businesses, employers and organisations have already signed up to participate in the event.
However there is still an opportunity for businesses, regardless of size, to register for the free event.
“Once again we are inviting all businesses, no matter their size, to use the exhibition as an opportunity to promote any kind of job within their organisation or to consider offering work experience or placement opportunities, including training apprenticeships – and to help us boost local employment opportunities,” added Mr O’Connell.
“This is a great way to raise the profile of your business and your employees in Tyrone and it is free to exhibit a stand at the event.”
Spaces are limited, so if you would like to book an exhibition stand at TyroneWorks, book online http://www.bitcni.org.uk/event/tyroneworks-2/
