Now residing in Abu Dhabi, Oscar Murphy won a competition to ‘Beat the Pro’ during the first round of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championships at Abu Dhabi Golf Club, where he had the chance to hit a tee shot during the first round to see if he could get closer to the pin than his heroes.

As you can see from the video, Oscar, who represents Omagh Golf Club when on holiday back home, showed nerves of steel to launch his three wood 183 yards into the middle of the par 3 15th green, inside Johnson and Fleetwood, with only McIlroy closer to the pin.
