Evening of glitz and glamour for Alzheimer’s Society

A glamorous fashion show in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society will take place at the Omagh Golf Club on February 23. The event will feature clothing from Dress Connection and Sobelle’.

From wedding attire to spring collections, an upcoming fashion show for charity promises to be a great evening of glitz and glamour for local ladies.

Taking place at the Omagh Golf Club on February 23, all proceeds from the glamorous night will be going towards the local Alzheimer’s Society.

On display will be gorgeous fashionable clothing from ladies boutique ‘Dress Connection’, while ‘Sobelle Millinery Shoes and Crafts’ will be showcasing accessories to match.

The evening will commence at 7.30pm with a group of enthusiastic volunteer models strutting their stuff on the catwalk, and the compere throughout will be Glenda Ewing.

There will also be a wine and cheese reception awaiting all guests to get the evening off to a sparkling start.

Omagh Golf Club Lady Captain, Carol McGuigan has encouraged all fashion-savvy ladies to save the date.

“The fashion show is certain to be a great evening of fashion and fun,” Carol said.  “I am confident we will have a full-house on Friday, Friday 23, particularly as it was such a fun evening last year.

“It is great the local Alzheimer’s Society is going to benefit from the proceeds. It is such a worthy local charity, doing great work for sufferers of Dementia and their families.”

She added, “I am also so excited that Dress Connection and Sobelle have chosen Omagh Golf Club, once again, for this event.

“Together they will showcase the latest spring and summer collections, as well as fashionable wedding attire, special occasion dresses and matching accessories.”

Tickets for the fashion show are on sale at Sobelle Millinery, located on the Fernagh Road, Omagh (proprietor Sheena Bingham); Dress Connection, located on the Beltany Road, Omagh (proprietor Aileen Owens-Duddy); Mountjoy Filling Station; The Sperrin Restaurant and Omagh Golf Club.

Alternatively, speak to any Lady Golf Club member to reserve or purchase a ticket.
