Image Express – the passport photo specialists

AS of March 27 2018 there has been a massive change to how you will now process your passport. Also a massive change in the cost. The current price to process your passport is £72.50 and as of last Tuesday the price will be £85. The Government now want you to process your passport online saving you some additional costs of £9.75 for checking and sending. You might wonder where Image Express comes into this equation. Traditionally you could simply pop down your local pharmacy and have your photo taken by someone. As of this week that has all changed and you now need a digital photo taken, sized correctly and pre-approved before you upload to the Government website.

This is where image express come in. Over the past year we have been investing in equipment and the correct software to make your passports perfect for approval. The process of taking a passport
photo isn’t simple, you need the correct lighting and resolution of image. We work extra hard to make sure that every costumer has a photo that is approved and ready for uploading. We use software that has the exact template that the Government website uses to approve your photos. Our background is exactly what is required and we can promise zero shadows. Kids photos can be particularly tricky but we have a full-proof system in place to make sure that we have the right photo. With very young babies it’s even more important to have the correct photo and all young babies get a free photo key ring which is an added bonus.

Along with passport photos we also take photos for driving licence, American visa photos and gun licence and blue badge photos. We also offer discount when you come as a couple or as a family
So this time whether you’re renewing your passport or it’s your very first passport remember that your passport photo is a crucial part of it and in order to make your life lots more hassle free let Image Express take care of it.
