DUNGANNON Swifts will begin the search for a new manager following the imminent departure of Rodney McAree.
McAree is set to be unveiled as the new manager of Coleraine Football Club later today.
The Bannsiders made McAree their number one target following the departure of Oran Kearney who was appointed the new manager of St Mirren at the end of last week.
The 44-year-old ex-Fulham player is set to be unveiled later this afternoon.
Earlier this year McAree guided Swifts to an historic first ever senior trophy success back in February when Dungannon defeated Ballymena United to win the Bet McLean League Cup.
The Herald understands that Swifts will take their time in appointing a new manager.
A sources close to the Stangmore Park club said they would be inviting expressions of interest in finding a suitable replacement for McAree.
DUNGANNON manager Rodney McAree is the front runner to become the next manager of Coleraine Football Club.
Dungannon Swifts created history by winning their first senior trophy at the National Stadium this evening.
