The annual Ulster Herald Bridal Fair in association with North-West Brides (bridal magazine)is taking place on Sunday 2nd February 2014 and is set for South West College, Omagh. The Bridal Fair has grown year on year to become one of the largest and most successful in the area. Its success is aided by an integrated promotional campaign including in-paper, magazine, radio, social media, road signs, posters, a dedicated bridal supplement and through our participating exhibitors. Businesses have the opportunity to exhibit at the show and/or take out advertising in our Bridal Supplement. The Bridal Fair will be promoted widely throughout the North West to target as many potential customers as possible and ensure this is a successful event for all.
General advertising will commence in December as we advertise the event to potential exhibitors and we will move to specific event advertising 3 weeks before the Bridal Fair. A range of advert sizes will feature in the following newspapers:
The event is also promoted in the current edition of North-West Brides. The widespread coverage of our newspaper titles will cover the counties of Tyrone, Fermanagh, Donegal and border towns in counties Monaghan and Cavan.
In additional we will promote through the Ulster Herald website, plus banner ads on the websites of the Donegal News, Fermanagh Herald, Strabane Chronicle and North-West Brides.
All exhibitors are encouraged to add the Bridal Fair date to their advertisements, websites, blogs and other social media sites such as Facebook.
8ft external banners will be put up at the venue promoting the event.
A3 Posters will be put up in local newsagents, plus the Ulster Herald, Fermanagh Herald and Strabane Chronicle offices.
Radio adverts will run in the week leading up to the Bridal Fair and an electronic road sign will be put in place around Omagh.
At the event
A photographer from the Ulster Herald will attend to take photos of all that goes on during the day. These photos will form a pictorial spread in the Tyrone Herald.
On the day of the Bridal Fair we will also ask each business if they wish to offer a promotion or special discount to attending couples. Each exhibitor that provides a special offer specific to the Bridal Fair will be listed, along with his or her offer in a half page promo in the Bridal Supplement.
The Bridal Fair is being held in conjunction with the publication of special Bridal Guide/Supplement.

The Bridal Guide is inserted into the Ulster Herald, Fermanagh Herald and Donegal News Friday on the 29th, 30th and 31st January 2014.

The event is taking place across two exhibiting spaces in the South West College Omagh campus. Both rooms are connected and visitors to the event will be directed between both locations to ensure all exhibiting stands are viewed.
There is a free carpark at the venue and adjacent metered carpark spaces at the Ulsterbus Depot.
