Fintona Swifts has folded

Fermanagh and Western League Division Two club Fintona Swifts has folded.

A representative confirmed this evening (Tuesday) that the club would not be competing in the local junior league in the forthcoming season.

“We had held several meetings in the last number of weeks but we failed to get sufficent player numbers,” said a club spokesman.

League secretray Gerry Connolly has been informed of the decision.

Fintona Swifts were formed in the mid nineties.
