Tiernan Bradley packs at punch in Samoa

Power puncher Tiernan Bradley remains on course for gold at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa after defeating English opponent Dalton Smith in his 60kg semi-final clash earlier today.

Bradley, who had coasted through to the last four won on a split decision to secure at least a silver medal.

The five time Irish and seven time Ulster champion will be hoping to bring the curtain down on a remarkable career at youth level by signing off in style with victory in final showdown.

Ahead of the Games Bradley had been to training camps in Russia and Australia.
