Castlederg teenager, Adam Bustard (19) has been shortlisted for a drive in the Vauxhall Junior Rally Team competing in a Vauxhall R2 in the hotly contested British Rally Championship.


Adam has high aspirations for the 2016 season, hoping to prove his pace against the best up and coming drivers in the UK.

The Derg teenager is no stranger to rallying, with a strong family rally history and having already won the Junior Northern Ireland Championship himself.

Hundreds of applicants from across the world applied for the prestigious Vauxhall drive with only a few being shortlisted. The selected drivers will battle it out on December 17th for Vauxhall to make their decision on who will get the drive for 2016.

The BRC consists of seven rounds with two contesting in Northern Ireland on the infamous Circuit of Ireland rally and Ulster Rally.
