Drumquin archer Simon McKelvey, left, sets new NI record

DRUMQUIN archers had a fantastic day at the NI Field Archery Championships last weekend bringing home two gold and two silver medals.

Despite the demands placed on competitors by the tricky Brook Hall course which slopes down towards the river Foyle, a record was broken by Simon McKelvey in the Adult Freestyle class, with the highest score recorded in any NIFAA shoot.
