Omagh boxer Tiernan Bradley is today en route to the States to again hook up with the McGregor camp ahead of next month’s mega bucks showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jr..
Bradley had initially spent two weeks sparring with McGregor in the Dublin based Straight Blast Gym before the two-weight UFC champion jetted off for a round of press conferences to promote what is expected to be the richest showdown in the history of the fight game.
Before heading Stateside, Bradley said on social media, “Joining up with the McGregor camp in Las Vegas! Business to the side now time for the hard work over the next 6 weeks, viva Las Vegas!”
His club Sacred Heart wished the talented 20-year-old all the best for his six-week stint.
“Great news that Tiernan Bradley will now travel to Las Vegas to join the McGregor camp for the last 6 weeks before the big fight. Great to see such a big name/team in sport use the services of such a wee club in Omagh!! Well done Champ.”
Bradley, a six times Irish champion, had been recommended to the McGregor camp by the Dubliner’s former sparring partner Conor Wallace.
The multi-million pound blockbuster between McGregor and Mayweather takes place in Vegas on August 24. Mayweather is unbeaten in 49 professional fights.
