House ransacked in Fintona home burglary

Police have launched an investigation after a house was ransacked in Fintona over the weekend.

Cash and jewellery were among the items taken from the property on Gargrim Road.

Detectives believe the house was burgled some time between 3pm on Friday and 3pm on Sunday.


In a statement, the PSNI said, “Entry was forced to the property via a rear door and it was ransacked. A number of items including cash and jewellery were then stolen from it.

“Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area between these times and may have seen any suspicious activity.

“Anyone with information should contact the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 830 26/11/17, or if they wish to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
