Police appeal over stolen chainsaw

Police are appealing for information after a chainsaw was stolen from a shed near Newtownstewart.

Theft took place in recent days, in the West Road area between Newtownstewart and Omagh.

A PSNI spokesperson said, “At some point between Saturday, February 3 and Tuesday, February 6, it is believed that entry was gained to the shed and a blue chainsaw stolen from it.


“Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 1070 of 06/02/18.  Or, alternatively information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
