Based in Carrickmore, Ecohog is a family-run engineering company who supply equipment to the waste and recycling sector. Established in 2013 and with 14 full time staff, the company specialises in two particular products – metals and air separation.

Through extensive research and development they have developed products that provide the most efficient separation technology of its kind in today’s market. They operate on a global scale and while their market focus is export based they believe in a local approach to staffing, procurement of materials and collaborations with local businesses.
For Ecohog, customer service is imperative. Contactable 24 hours a day, they have built up strong relationships with their customers and agents leading to repeat custom.


KES Group

Under the KES Group umbrella is the ‘SmartBuild’ brand. This innovative brand was a diversification from their core renewable energy business and its vision is to manufacture buildings of the future today. They prefabricate modular buildings on-site in Omagh under a controlled environment to the specific needs of clients. Bespoke plans have been created for the likes of home extensions to expanding office space for local businesses.

SmartBuild aims to revolutionise the traditional portacabin and replace it with an energy efficient, eye catching modular building that can be utilised once it arrives on site. The KES Group continue to develop new business ideas alongside their very successful renewable energy division.


Lagan Power Engineering Group

Lagan Power Engineering is an electrical installation and consultancy business which operates in the renewable, private and utility networks. Operating across Ireland, the UK and the USA, some of their main customers include SSE, NIE and Energia. They boast 20 full-time workers, two consultants and they have nine vans on the road.

With a vision of building a global market, today Lagan Power Engineering are focusing on a solution to allow turbines to generate when the transformer has failed. This is a solution that will be available, not just across Ireland, but across the water too. And this is just one of the many ways which the flourishing business is building their excellent company profile.
