Armed robbery in Omagh

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery of an off-licence on the Old Mountfield Road in Omagh last night, Wednesday 29 August.

It was reported that at around 10.40pm a masked male, carrying a tool, entered the premises and threatened members of staff before making off with a sum of cash. He is described as being of medium build and was wearing jeans, a black jacket and white trainers. He is believed to have made off in the direction of Castleview.

Detective Constable Irvine is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with information that could assist the investigation to contact detectives in Omagh Police Station on 101, quoting reference 1460 29/08/18.
