Heroes welcome expected for Tyrone team

THE Tyrone team which lost yesterday’s All-Ireland Final against Dublin will be returning to the Red Hand county this afternoon.

A reception for the vanquished players and management took place last night in the Citywest Hotel in Dublin when Padraig Hampsey was named as the player of the match.

Now the Tyrone team are preparing for the journey north. Their first stop will be in Aughnacloy at around 4pm/4.30pm.

They will then travel to the main reception at Healy Park in Omagh which is scheduled to get underway at 7pm/7.30pm.

Tyrone GAA has issued an invitation to all supporters to welcome the team home following their brave bid for Sam Maguire Cup glory.
