Police appeal following arson attack on Omagh car

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an arson attack on a car in Omagh last night, Wednesday, September 5.

Shortly before 10pm it was reported that a car parked in the vicinity of Hospital Road had been set on fire.  Police and NIFRS attended and the fire was extinguished.  Damage was caused to the car as a result.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact detectives in Omagh on 101 quoting reference 1325 05/09/18.  Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
