Haunted Halloween celebrations in Omagh

Omagh Town Centre will be awash with a host of creepy characters on Wednesday, October 31 as part of the annual Halloween celebrations organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. An array of zombie characters will accompany a varied programme of dance, mystery and magic, followed by the spectacular fireworks display from the roof of the Strule Art Centre. Throughout the day there will be plenty to keep little hands busy with Halloween Shadow Puppet Studio Workshops followed by the Little Vampire Movie. To book a place on the workshop or to book a ticket for the movie, please contact www.struleartscentre.com.

As always, the award-winning OASIS Plaza will host entertainment from 6pm including a Halloween Fancy Dress Party and spot prizes, light performers, as well as gooey Halloween slime making. One of the highlights of the evening will showcase students from the renowned Hazel Wand Theatre School who will deliver a ‘thrilling’ performance. The mysterious DJ and magician with his tricks and treats will entertain the family as they dodge the creepy characters and vampires wandering around the OASIS plaza.

Drumragh Avenue Car Park will be bustling with traders providing a range of hot food, drinks and activities. Get yourself in a spin as you venture through the vortex tunnel and other spooky family fun. The Fireworks/Pyrotechnic Display will launch from Strule Arts Centre Roof top at 7.45pm. Support to access this event Blue-Badge parking is located at Drumragh Avenue Car Park. There will be a designated viewing area of the fireworks for people with disabilities located on the upper level on the OASIS Plaza.
