Latest: Serious crash in Cookstown

A ROAD in Cookstown has been closed after a serious two-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon.

A PSNI spokesperson said, “The Lissan Road at the junction with Feegarron Road, Cookstown is currently closed this evening (Tuesday, November 6) following a serious two vehicle road traffic collision.

 “Diversions are in place at the Coolreaghs Road and motorists are advised to seek alternative main routes for their journey.


 “There are no further details at this stage.”
