Lyndsey McCay’s team defeated opponents Raphoe 2-0 in the showpiece final with Emma Shortt and Aimee Buchanan netting in the second half.

In truth, Senior One league leaders Omagh dominated the game throughout and should have been ahead by the interval but in the second period it all came good for the Tyrone outfit.

Shortt’s opener owed much to a penetarting run and pass from Danni Darragh and the attacker swept the ball home first time.

Buchanan’s clincher followed good work by Neave Nethery and Lauren Armstrong on the right and the forward steered the ball past Raphoe stopper Heather Humphrey

At the opposite end Omagh offered the Raphoe attack little encouragement, their best opportunity falling to Wendy Patterson who was denied by Omagh net-minder Alison Long.

Omagh team: Alison Long; Lyndsey McCay; Aimee Buchanan; Emma Fulton; Lisa Long; Emma Shortt; Danielle Darragh; Neave Nethery; Lauren Armstrong; Holly Swan; Mia Nethery; Amy Sproule; Lucy Brunt; Lauren McCollum; Amy McCollum.
