Mountjoy and Lisbellaw set for relegation play-off

Mountjoy United and Lisbellaw United will face each other in a winner-takes-all Division One relegation play-off after both finishing on 22 points following the final round of fixtures this evening.

Lisbellaw drew 1-1 at home to NFC Kesh while David Gilfillan’s Mountjoy hammered already relegated Strule United 5-1 at Lisnagirr Road.

A Jordan Orr double, strikes by Michael Reid, Lee Frazer and an OG saw the home side run out comfortable winners against a Strule side whose only response came from Aaron McCrory.

Dergview Reserves meanwhile avoided getting dragged into a potential three-way play-off with a 2-1 victory over champions Enniskillen Rangers.

An early Warner Ballantyne goal set the Derg men on their way before Dylan Aiken doubled the advantage with an 80th minutes penalty after Adam McElhill had been upended by Jerome Carleton.

Jason Keenan pulled a goal back with a well struck free kick but it was too little too late for the visitors
