Orange and white gardening tools stolen from vehicle

Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of a theft from a vehicle parked in the Gillgooley Road area of Omagh on Wednesday,  May 22.

Constable Adam Blair said, “It was reported that sometime between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm a parked van was entered and a number of STIHL gardening power tools were taken.

“The items were two Kombi engines, two hedge trimmer attachments, one strimmer attachment, one leaf blower and two Husqvarna chainsaws. All items were orange and white in colour.


“I would appeal for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the car park on the Gillgooley Road area or who has any information about this incident, or anyone who may be offered similar items for sale in suspicious circumstances, to contact police at Omagh on 101 quoting reference number 1552 of 22/05/19.”

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100 per-cent anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
