Pearses legacy for Maurice through organ donation

TO remember, celebrate, and honour the life of Maurice McCloughan, the Fintona Pearses are kick-starting a campaign to encourage everyone to sign on the organ donation website.

The campaign, titled ‘Building a Legacy’, sees the Fintona Pearses team up with the McCloughan family to create a legacy for their beloved, and dearly missed, Maurice.

Maurice, who was from Fintona, sadly died in December 2016, in a road traffic collision on the A5 Doogary Road which also tragically claimed the life of his best friend, Killian Doherty from Drumquin. The two men were only 19-years-old.

Today the Fintona Pearses are posing the question, ‘Maurice carried the organ donor card, will you’?

“Consider who you hold dearest, and ask yourself if you would accept the gift of life if they were in need,” said a Fintona Pearses spokesperson. “No doubt you answered ‘yes’.

“Please consider the many families who are currently waiting for that gift of life.

“It will cost you nothing, but could be priceless for up to seven people in desperate need.”
