Intruder breaks into Omagh home in broad daylight

Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary at a house in the Orchard Terrace area of Omagh on the morning of Monday, September 9.

Detective Constable Crawford said, “It is reported that a male entered the house just before 11am yesterday morning.

“The man made off when he discovered the occupant was home.


“While nothing was taken, this was a very distressing experience for the homeowner. And we are appealing to anyone with information, or who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area, to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 667 of 09/09/19.”

Alternatively, information can be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
