Gavin Devlin banned for 24 weeks

TYRONE assistant Gavin Devlin has been hit by a 24-week suspension following an incident in an U15 game in Garvaghey back in July.

The ban was imposed by the GAA’s Central Hearing Committee for  ‘disruptive conduct by a supporter’ in Tyrone’s match against Down in a Natioanl U15 Academy tournament.

The Ardboe man has the option to take the case to the GAA’s Central Appeals Committee.

If upheld, it would mean that Devlin wouldn’t be able to conduct his Tyrone duties during matches until late February.
