Frightening armed robbery in Dungannon

Detectives are appealing for information following the report of an armed robbery at commercial premises in Irish Street, Dungannon last night, Friday, Novembe 1r.

At approximately 7.30pm three men, with their faces covered, entered the premises and two of them forced their way into an office.   The third male, who had what is believed to be a knife, remained at the front door of the premises.

The males made off with a sum of cash.

Detective Constable Ford said: “I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in and around these premises or anyone who has information that could assist us with our enquiries to contact detectives at Cookstown on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 2137 01/11/19.  Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
