Saturday night arson attack in Omagh

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an arson attack on a dwelling in Castleview Park, Omagh on Saturday, 2 November.

It is believed this incident occurred sometime between 6.40pm and 7.10pm.  Considerable damage was caused to the property.

Constable Gowdy said, “I would ask anyone who has information that could assist us with our enquiries or anyone who witnessed this incident to contact detectives at Omagh on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1597 02/11/19.  Police are also keen to speak to the driver of a black Volkswagen Golf that may have been in the area, as the driver may be able to assist us with our enquiries.  Information can also be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
