‘House of Vixen’ makes its mark on High Street

THERE was great excitement this week as Omagh’s newest ladies and children’s boutique, House of Vixen, opened its doors at its new premises on High Street. The new store is a significant boost to the Omagh town centre and creates a complete new retail experience for local shoppers and visitors to the town.

Proprietor Brenda O’Donnell is no stranger to retail in Omagh having owned the former House of Kidz and Vixen stores in Market Street for ten years and four years respectively. Brenda is excited about the next stage in her journey and said, “We have worked hard for over ten years in Omagh and have built a loyal customer base.

“Bringing both ladies and kids together under the one roof in our fabulous new premises is an ambitious move but I am confident that people still treasure good customer service and an excellent in-store shopping experience.

“With the design inspired by Dollybird Interiors, we believe people will see the significant difference we have made to the former ‘Shoe Zone’ store in just seven weeks.”

There has been great excitement in Omagh as the works have been underway and the striking new shop front on the building has created a sense of anticipation about what lies behind its doors. The six figure investment will see jobs created not only in the retail and online business for House of Vixen, but in up to four new additional businesses which will operate from within the store. These independent professionals will provide a range of health, beauty and wellness services.

Brenda explained, “We wanted a broad retail experience which incorporated additional services which already include podiatry, beauty and aesthetics.

“We are thrilled to provide this opportunity and believe that it will be a positive collaboration.

“I am a firm believer that women in business working together is so important.”

House of Vixen stocks a vast range of stylish, on-trend and beautiful clothes for special occasions or everyday wear. There is an intimate and private space which will also accommodate an extensive range of communion wear and will allow private fittings  for personal styling and a quiet space for some children.

To mark the opening of House of Vixen, a 20-per-cent discount will be offered on all stock this weekend and there will be treats in store as well as fashion shows and bloggers.
