cocaine, cannabis and amphetamines seized in Omagh

 A quantity of suspected cocaine, cannabis and amphetamines was found valued at approximately £7,500 in a search in Omagh this morning.

Two men and a woman aged 23, 30 and 31 have been arrested following a proactive policing operation in the Ashdale Court area by local officers in the Omagh area.

Inspector Darren Fox said, “The men and woman were arrested on a number of offences including possession of a class A controlled drug, possession of a class B controlled drug, possession of class C controlled drug, and possession of class A drug with intent to supply, possession of class B drug with intent to supply and possession of a class C drug with intent to supply.


“The three remain in custody at this stage.

“These arrests and seizures are further evidence of our ongoing commitment to removing and disrupting the illegal supply of drugs in the Omagh area. We know the misery drugs can cause to individuals, their families and the wider community.

“We are committed to do all we can to remove harmful illegal drugs from the community.

“We would appeal to anyone who knows anything about illegal drugs or drug dealing in their area to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.”
