Gortin family hit fame in superstar music video

A FAMILY from Gortin have hit the big screen after they were featured in Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s brand new music video.

Kate Ward and her daughters Jemma (21) and Laura (13) can be seen in the music video for Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s new quarantine song ‘Stuck With U’ at around two minutes and 33 seconds in.

Sisters Jemma and Laura are big fans of Ariana Grande, and sent in a clip after the singer appealed for fan footage for the music video.

On Monday, the video was released for American Mother’s Day, and Jemma and Laura were left in hysterics after spotting themselves on the big screen.

Speaking to the Ulster Herald Jemma explained, “I am a massive fan of Ariana Grande.

“I have been a fan for years. She put out a post on Twitter asking for people to send in a video for an application for a new music video so we thought we had to do it.

“We sent in the video, and we got a text from her team saying the video was accepted for potential use.

“We were screaming when we got the message, but we still weren’t sure if we made it to the final video.

“The video came out at 6pm on Monday, and the time went in so slow as we were waiting on it.

“When it was released, we were watching it and suddenly seen ourselves. I was actually crying and screaming. I couldn’t speak, I was in hysterics.

“We got full screen too which was brilliant,” said Jemma.

After the video release, the Ward family’s fame continues to grow as they have also made it onto the social media of the two superstars.

“Justin Bieber put us on his Instagram and Ariana Grande had us on her story.

“It was class.

“I still can’t believe it.

“Mammy is secretly buzzing too,” concluded Jemma.
