‘Hole in One’ kickstarts members return to action

Members of Aughnacloy Golf Club were delighted to get back to the fairways with full time sheets turnouts from Day one.

With the glorious weather, the course was in pristine condition and was clearly enjoyed by all.

And there was no better way to kick off the season than shoot a ‘Hole in One’. Nigel Trotter did just that on Saturday.

Playing with Ivan Gillespie and Malachy Rice  he struck a fine shot to the 18th Green and couldn’t believe it when the ball disappeared in the hole. Well done Nigel. It is traditional at Aughnacloy that such feats come in threes so we are expecting two more soon.
