Cassie looking forward to US scholarship

OMAGH’S Cassie Lagan is looking forward to jetting off to Augusta University in Georgia to begin her life as an athletics scholarship student.

The only problem is at the minute she doesn’t actually know when her departure date is.

The current Covid-19 situation means she’s unable to get a visa sorted and can’t book flights, but she’s fortunate in that her new school have already informed her she can start classes remotely if the need arises.
